Both the first and second components are obligatory. The second component is the NEMO software itself. NEMO is built with the Julia programming language, so the first component is a version of Julia that's compatible with the version of NEMO you're installing. You'll be prompted to accept the NEMO license (the Apache License, version 2.0) and asked which components of NEMO you'd like to install. The installer will step you through the installation process. The installer is distributed through the LEAP website and is freely available once you register for the site (registration is also free). Here are the steps to follow:ĭownload a copy of the installer to your computer and run it. The installer program is the easiest way to install NEMO. Just delete menu entries and any shortcuts manually, then delete the App itself, and its links (which will be in ~/.local/bin).NEMO can be installed in two ways: through an installer program and manually via GitHub. No formal uninstall proceedure is needed to remove the installed AppImage. Tip: if you apply copy to the AppImage and press Ctrl+ Shift+ V in the terminal this will enter the absolute file path of the file that has just been “copied”.

Note: Instead of steps 7 and 8 (above) you can, of course, install using the absolute file path instead. The correct file associations are also automatically made. Steps 7–8 ensure that a MuseScore entry appears in the system’s menu and is linked to the new location of the AppImage (/home//.local/bin). install (the dot and slash at the beginning are important!)
